JSOA’s board members consist of the president, vice presidents and other members of the board of directors. As the need arises, the board of directors selects or removes members. Each member is responsible for daily business in order to achieve the institute’s purpose. The board of directors selects and removes members of the editorial board in publishing the book series journal and Japanese books as well as deciding the overall business activities of the institute.
